Not far behind the border to Albania on the lakeshore lies Ohrid. With a history going back to early antiquity, it has a beautiful old town with a castle, byzantine churches and much more to offer for the traveller.

The master's son explained to me how he is using old techniques and tools (among them the wooden Gutenberg press) to make seemingly old documents and prints.

It may look (and taste) like a turkish coffee, but don't let it fool you, this specimen is a macedonian coffe. It's never a turkish coffee (except in Turkey of course), according to the cultural self-identification of the locals, it may be either a serbian, a bosnian, a greek or a macedonian coffee.
The following day I left for Thessaloniki, visiting the monastery of Sveti Naum on the way.
